 Two-toed Amphiuma (Amphiuma means)

is a species of salamander found in the southeastern United States. They are fairly large and can grow up to 46 in long. They also have four adorable little vestigial legs that are almost completely useless, unlike other salamanders which are usually mute, the two-toed amphiuma can make a whistling sound when disturbed. They are very hard to handle as they are slippery and can deliver a painful bite. Like alot of salamanders A. means is nocturnal and feeds on small fish and invertebrates.
